I / We need help with my 16 year old grandson.. He missed school all last year. He lives with me Grandma, he does not want to go home. He is a good kid. He just wants to isolate in his room, he plays games, I know with one person from grade school he says. He comes out to eat what he wants, picky eater. He wont talk to family, when they visit. Only me Grandma, and, barely. He has made improvements in 8 months, showers, cleans room, puts laundry out to wash, takes his trash out All when asked. But wont communicate.
He does not want to speak to his mother, CPS was involved, he says he was abused. He went to the hospital and would not go home with mother after, they had no place to send him, so I took him home with me. I work part-time. His mother wants him home. He wont go. I need to find someone somewhere to help him
He was evaluated at Behavioral Health, agreed to help, but, told person that came to the house there was nothing wrong with him, and he was not depressed. So, she came twice and then said if he wouldnt talk to her she closed the case.?!
