Cal. State Regulations is a great web site if you want to find any regulations regarding group homes, foster family agencies, adoptions, education, etc. The site has a ‘how to use" section that makes it quite easy.

TLC Offers Therapy to Community

TLC offers therapy to members of the community through our Counseling Center.  We established the Counseling Center to extend our expertise into the community at large.

We offer child, adolescent, adult and family therapy. Therapy can be short term and problem oriented, or longer term and self-exploratory.

We specialize in teens and families and with issues of adoption, gender identity, and mood regulation.

Adoption FAQ's

What is Foster Care?

Generally refers to the system set up to protect children who are abused, neglected or abandoned or whose parents or primary caretakers are unable to fulfill their parenting obligations because of addiction, mental illness, emotional problems or a host of other reasons. In such latter cases, the placement into foster care by parents may have been voluntary.
