TLC Child & Family Services is seeking a Behavioral Health Billing Specialist to provide high level clerical and organizational support to Behavioral Health and Accounting departments.
This 40 hour per week position involves a myriad of responsibilities that include managing all phases of billing and contracting for mental health services, monthly BHS collection calls, maintaining client notes in an electronic health record, and managing client files. Ideal candidate will be engaging, able to work and interact with a variety of personalities as well as have the ability to take initiative and work independently.
Essential computer skills include proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and experience with Behavioral Health billing and data base management. This position requires incredible attention to detail, and job duties cannot be accomplished without superior organizational skills.
A minimum of a high school diploma and previous administrative experience is required, as is a valid CA driver’s license and the ability to pass a criminal history background check. To apply, please email a cover letter and resume to the email noted above.
