Work Experience
A “born and raised” native of Sonoma County, Stephanie spent her years prior to TLC in the Army, traveling the world, working in child welfare as a child protective services worker for the counties of San Diego and Contra Costa.  She also worked as a parent educator for the California Parenting Institute in Santa Rosa and as a THP client advocate in Oakland.  Stephanie was pleased to find her way back to Sonoma County in June of 2010 and find a home working on TLC’s dynamic residential team.  Stephanie is a passionate advocate for each youth and family on her caseload as she strives to provide strength-based, quality treatment tailored to each family’s unique needs.

In addition to case management, Stephanie is an integral part of staff development and program implementation as well as co-facilitator of the Phoenix House Connections Group. Stephanie makes her way around campus with her handsome sidekick, Simba, a golden retriever who plays basketball, fetch, and offers cuddle time to the residents. When Stephanie isn’t at TLC, she is likely to be camping, exploring a new country, or planning a gourmet meal to share with her family and friends.
